i’ll like this but also give advice that probably won’t work. go get a cardboard shoe box or plastic container or something and put it over the top. then slide the lid under. like with a spider. ta da. or just employ my cats.
I had the same idea and was wielding an impressively large bucket for a while but it’s too damn fast. And my cat, who is usually disgustingly pro at catching birds, lizards, etc couldn’t care less about it. (can i borrow your cats?) At the moment i think it’s in the network behind our dishwasher, so we’ll have to see what happens…
